Wenzhou Opal Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.

1993-1994 OPALCHEM successfully used pyruvaldehyde patent, which is

owned by Professor Xiang Yifei with FUDAN UNIVERSITY, into industrial

production.

In 1994, OPALCHEM RESEARCH INSTITUTE is established, which would not

only closely combine new tech. with production, but also keep up with new

progress in fine chemical.

In 1995, OPALCHEM's pyruvaldehyde and 4-methylimidazole won CHINA

NATIONAL NEW PRODUCT co-issued by five Ministries of government including

MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.

In 1997, OPALCHEM RESERCH INSTITUTE is taking part in provincal science

program.

In 1998, Mixed imidazole is successfully used as epoxy resin additive.

In 1999, OPALCHEM makes great progress in imidazole and 4-methylimiazole

production.

In 2002, OPALCHEM is certified of ISO9001:2000 by China Classification Society Quality Assurance Company.
